Time was founded in 1987 by Roland Cattin and quickly gained prominence through sponsorship of Tour de France winners like Greg LeMond and Miguel Indurain. Known for pioneering clipless pedal technology and high-performance cycling shoes, Time products have been used in numerous Tour de France victories, World Championships, and Olympic gold medal rides. Over the years, the brand has sponsored elite teams and riders, including Tom Boonen and Paolo Bettini. In 2021, Time Bicycles was acquired by Cardinal Cycling Group, while SRAM purchased Time's pedal division, continuing its legacy of innovation in cycling technology.
